About
“Ongod❞ Band Group was established in 2018 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to perform Mongolian rock or Hun Rock, Folk Rock, Ethnic music using Mongolian traditional music instruments such as Horse-headed fiddle, tovshuur – two or three-stringed lute, fife, metal fiddle, jaw harp, shaman tambourine, drum; and roaring and whistling of throat singing type in combination with rock style. The name of Group “Ongod” refers to the highest mental and intellectual capacity of human being. Moreover, Ongod also is referred to as an artificial spirit to enter into a trance for a shaman.
The objective of Group
Our group is working with the objectives to conquer rock and folk music fans through own creature using the folk art inherited by our ancestors, traditional music instruments, to create and perform new unique music and songs, and to become the world level competitive music group.
